Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator
A leading manufacturer in NE Ohio is seeking an experienced Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this role you will set up and operate Acme or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines to precision machine component parts for various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality
- Meeting or exceeding daily production targets
- Reading blueprints to determine specifications for each job
- Installing tooling such as collets, pushers, gears, cams etc. as needed
- Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Making machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances
- Tearing down set-ups after job completion
- Replacing and sharpening tooling when needed
- Collaborating and communicating with team members
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience operating Acme or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
- Experience using inspection tools like gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Detail-oriented with strong quality focus
- Self-motivated and teamwork oriented
