Job Duties: Assist in the development, maintenance, and promulgation of NSI/SCI policy and procedures, policies and procedures related to Executive Order 13526, and Intelligence Community guidance.
Support activities include developing technical documents in coordination with subject matter experts, participating in stakeholder training outreach, reviewing physical and information security program compliance and assessment documents, providing technical assistance, conducting programmatic and operational research, and maintaining task schedules and the development and evaluation of strategic planning processes, documents, and strategies. Support security education and training efforts (developing briefing information, conducting training, etc.) and the preparation and processing of related non-disclosure agreements.
General office duties including data entry in security information databases, document creation, email, phone calls, and other administrative tasks.
Assist with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) operations (design, construction, etc.) Assist with technical surveillance countermeasure (TSCM) surveys. Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures. Indoctrinate, update, brief, and debrief personnel in JSTARS. Remote work is not available for this position.
Assist in processing visit certification requests, including verification of clearance information in related databases.
Maintain schedules for secure conference rooms, telephones, and workstations.
Assist in the oversight of classified visitor and meeting activities.
Transmit and receive classified materials via mail, fax, hand carry, or classified networks. Includes packaging of classified/sensitive materials.
Assist in issuing classified courier cards to personnel, providing courier training briefings, and completing necessary paperwork as required.
The position requires an individual with the ability to maintain an excellent level of customer service, interact with high-level Department officials, and prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience. TS/SCI clearance. Experience providing briefings/debriefings. Experience with JSTARS, JPAS, DISS, or another clearance repository. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing. Experience working in a SCIF environment.
