You may also view all of our current openings on our Careers Page: KDP Careers - Victorville, CA Scientist As a Scientist you are responsible for overall quality lab operations of the Keurig Dr Pepper processing operations. You will work with the team to ensure food safety and other quality standards are applied. What you will do: Ensures a safe workplace is maintained and there is a safety mindset in all things we do. Supervise up to 8 Quality Technicians Hires, schedules and supervises full time staff and additional temporary staff. Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department. Interprets test results, writes technical reports and effectively communicates information within the organization Provides technical guidance based on test results and subject knowledge Independently researches, evaluates and interprets external technical information Develops skill in using software as necessary Balances scientific rigor with business needs Coaches colleagues in specific areas of technical competency Develops solutions to a variety of problems, by referring to policies and practices for guidance. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards (i.e. Food Safety, Food Defense) Performs other duties as requested by management Total Rewards $66,500.00 - $115,185.00/yr. Placement within the salary range will depend on years of experience, skill set, etc. Where Applicable: Benefits eligible day one Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility Requirements Ideal Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Must have minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry Proven experience with lean manufacturing, pull and visual systems and clear understanding of TQM and use of tools and data for problem solving, decision making and continuous improvement required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word with demonstrated knowledge of productivity tracking Experience with SAP or similar system preferred Must be comfortable developing and conducting group presentations to employees and management.
