Role reports to: Associate Director, Baby Care Translational Science Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025. Travel %: 10% What you will do The Scientist is responsible for applying their scientific expertise to conduct research experiments, shaping scientific insights that build compelling consumer communications about the efficacy of our products. The candidate will experiment with novel clinical methods, test prototypes, and explore novel ways to continue to advance and progress the science that supports our most iconic brands. Key Responsibilities Shape and execute proof of principle clinical studies that support hypotheses of formulation mechanism of action and relation to clinical outcomes and provide robust claims support. Analyze clinical data and provide data-based recommendations for future research. Partner with cross functional experts to shape communications/demos that resonate with our consumers and healthcare professionals. Identify opportunities for Intellectual Property, execute experiments and publish scientific discoveries What we are looking for Required Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelors degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience or a Masters in a relevant subject area. Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven presentation skills. Proficiency with spreadsheets, handling multivariate data. Technical competency in laboratory analysis methodologies, including microscopy, spectroscopy, or image analysis techniques. Desired Qualifications Experience with clinical study design or execution and Good Clinical Practice procedures. Formulation development experience. Experience with translation of scientific data into communications for healthcare professionals and consumers.
