Pharmaceutical organization seeks an experienced scientist to characterize protein therapeutics such as antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), antibodies, and bispecific antibodies in support of molecular assessment and formulation development. Duties: Design and implement experiments to characterize proteins, antibodies, ADCs, and similar. Assist with drug process development and formulation for antibodies and ADCs. Provide technical mentorship to associate scientists. Collaborate with contract research and manufacturing organizations. Support late stage discovery and drug development activities. Requirements: Degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or similar field. Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or similar laboratory experience. Hands on knowledge of peptides, protein, drug conjugate, and antibody analysis & characterization methods. Understanding of Capillary Electrophoresis, Capillary Isoelectric Focusing, Glycan analysis, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (References Polysiloxanes, Normal Phase, Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography, Size Exclusion Chromatography, and Ion Exchange) or similar. Familiarity with Mass Spectrometric techniques focusing on Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry for intact mass, non reduced, and reduced peptide map analysis.
