Health Advocates Network is seeking a Science Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shifts Details:

Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a genuine interest in inspiring and engaging middle school students in the field of science.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the school curriculum and educational standards

Create hands-on and interactive learning experiences to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts

Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth

Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate science with other subjects

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning community

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Teaching certification or license in Science Education

Previous experience teaching middle school students in a science-related field

-Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and instructional strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
