Benefits Salaries starting at $50,450 Upon being offered employment and being processed, candidates will have the opportunity to submit Experience Verification Forms for any prior years of relevant work experience. $500 supplement for ASHA CCCs Variety of work locations On-going, district trainings Opportunities for free CEUs Health insurance (board-paid for eligible positions) Life insurance Qualifications Education: A master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (preferred) or bachelor's degree and be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Individuals employed with a bachelor's degree will work under the supervision of a master's level speech-language pathologist holding certification by the American SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association. Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K12 or Florida Department of Health License in Speech Language Pathology. American SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred. Candidates completing their clinical fellowship year must obtain a temporary Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12 until meeting DOH licensure or ASHA certification requirements.
