SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDER VACANCY SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST - DISTRICT WIDE SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE HIRED ON A YEAR ONLY CONTRACT - CONTRACT RENEWAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE DONE IN THE SPRING AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS AND BOARD OF EDUCATION APPROVAL THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A ONE TIME SIGNING BONUS OF $2,500 PAYABLE ON DECEMBER 15, 2024 AND A RETENTION BONUS OF $2,500 AFTER THREE YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT PAYABLE ON JUNE 15, 2027 EXTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY Starting Date: July 26, 2024 New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation: New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024. Experience: District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year relevant experience up to 20 years. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant administrative experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years). Qualifications and Expectations: Ph.D. or Ed.S. in school psychology plus additional coursework required for certification or licensure.
