About the Employer The Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) is located in Northern California and serves 13 districts and 17 charter schools in Butte County and provides services to students and educators in all 58 California Counties and employs 1500 people in Butte County and across the state. Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of the assigned Director or Principal, the School Psychologist manages, evaluates and serves as a consultant for the Butte County Office of Education or SELPA-operated programs. Programs may include the following areas: Severely Handicapped (SH), Emotionally Disturbed (ED), Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH), Early Start, Charter Schools, Juvenile Court Community Schools (JCCS), Butte County Jail, small school districts and at-risk students at a variety of school sites throughout Butte County. The School Psychologist represents BCOE and/or the SELPA in a variety of interagency committees and takes a leadership role for interagency collaboration regarding individual students, programs and support services.
