School Lunch Monitor

FSLA STATUS: Non-Exempt HOURS: Monday-Friday 11:30am-1:30pm JOB GOALS: Ensure that the cafeteria is safe, efficient and pleasant environment for students JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the cafeteria is ready for students Keep an adequate inventory of supplies Keep the cafeteria clean and safe Clean tables, counters, coolers and floors Actively circulate among students in order to maintain a respectful and orderly environment. Always be respectful of students Assist students when necessary Is observant and vigilant while supervising students in the cafeteria and playground during lunch and recess. Communicates well with adults and children Works collegially with others Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills Ability to follow instructions and make good decisions Must be on time for work on a daily basis Ability to work independently The LCCPS is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
