Having a CDL is a plus in our hiring process, but FREE CDL training is available.

What We Offer

Guaranteed 25-30 hours per week.

Split-Shift- mornings and afternoons.

FREE Training to prepare for CDL permit.

Pay Rate: Starting $22.80

Earned Paid time off/Holidays.

Overtime pay for additional work.

Bonus Potential

$750 bonus when you train with us and receive your CDL.

$5,000 sign-on-bonus for any hired fully licensed CT CDL Driver who has an A, B or C license with P & S endorsements.

Job Requirements

Drivers must be at least 21 with 3 year's driving experience.

Must have a driver's license to enter CDL permit training (we train you for free.)

Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibility Profile:
Transport clients to and from destinations.
Arrive at destinations on schedule.
Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
Always interact with clients professionally.
Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We Transport / Towne Bus is a premier Long Island-based school bus company serving districts throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York City, Westchester County, and Bridgeport, Connecticut.

A major part of our company's repertoire includes special needs transportation and services for wheelchair-bound individuals.
