Job Details

School Behavioral Health Clinician

Will look at MSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, MLADC

Will look at new grads

  • We currently working with about 10 schools in Manchester, NH, including elementary, middle and high school.
  • There is enough volume that their caseloads are full at a single school
  • We see ages 5 to 18 depending on what setting you land in.
  • School hours, approximately 7-3 (5-day week, 8 hours per day)
  • Doing a lot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, partnering with the school district to implement the MTSS-B system
  • We have a model which would keep you full time employees (eligible for those benefits) and have July and August off.

Three Important Things:

1) This is very independent work. You collaborate with your team at monthly meetings, and collaborate with the school staff, but you have to like working with minimal supervision. Most of the referrals come in from the school personnel.
2) We do have the option to work 12 months, but the summer months would be filled with other activities since most of the schools are closed. There are some summer school opportunities and doing intakes/assessments in the clinic.
3) And finally, the staff that are in the schools LOVE the work they do (even more so than usual). They are passionate about their "kiddos" and helping them get through difficult situations.
