School Age Child Care Provider

Locations: Revere Public School

Schedule: Monday-Friday mornings and afternoons from 2:15pm - 5:45pm

MUST HAVES:

1. High School Diploma
2. 6 months of formal experience
3. 18 years of age or older

As an AlphaBEST Guide, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following:

• Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
• Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the student's interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.

Here's what you'll need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be registered and have full clearance from the Massachusett's Department of Early Education and Care's Background Check program

Proof of experience through ONE of the following options is required:

• 9 months of experience with school-age children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-age child care program or;
• HS diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience working with school-age children including 3 months of supervised experience at a school-age program
