Scheduler with Security Clearance

Description JOB DESCRIPTION : The Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling of materials and equipment through the production schedule. May coordinate schedules with purchasing or engineering departments. Must have the ability to identify and schedule TMDE in all areas. Interaction with diverse AFPSL customers required. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION : HS Diploma or related equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years' experience in TMDE scheduling using automated MIS system Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner with minimal supervision Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Programs Requires excellent communication (speaking and writing), and interpersonal skills Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to qualify for or have successfully completed a National Agency Check Investigation within the last ten (10) years. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : Essential/Typical Duties: Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Plans sequence of operations. Prepares production reports. Non-Essential Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally: Climbing, Stopping, Kneeling Often: Reaching, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Talking, Hearing Lifting/Moving Requirements : Must have the ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds (lbs.) Environmental Conditions : Normally works in an enviro nmentally controlled work area.
