Position Overview The Mid-Level Systems Analyst Scenario Lead will provide Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation Support to the Mission Command Battle Laboratory (MCBL), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Provide scenario developments skills in support of MCBL experimentation events. Essential Job Function Presentation skills, clear and precise oral communications May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. Works in conjunction with project officers to provide a final report addressing all experiment scenario issues, develops databases that effectively archive all data captured. Attend planning meetings Training and managing data collectors Proficient in the use of MS Office products Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Must have an active SECRET clearance Must be a US Citizen Must be an experienced military operator with field-grade level knowledge Must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited university Shall have minimum 5 years in scenario development supporting experimentation and Joint exercises Must have breadth of knowledge from service in EAB planning and Joint Staff planning experience, Joint Service expertise/experience and willingness or desire to learn the Operational Wargaming System (OWS) and provide unit generation support of tokens that must be produced for each team (Red/Blue) to be used in Vassal (open-source game engine for building and online adaptations on a board. Must generate and review slides in support of CONOPs and conditions, support material and additional background information. Desired Qualifications Ability to design and conduct relatively simple, scalable, and quick low-overhead agile wargames that help inform C2 analytical research, foresight, and advisory concept development activities. Experienced military operator with field-grade level knowledge (desire is Army service of greater than 10 years with experiences in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon) Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
