Job Details:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly technical and challenging role within the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. You will work closely with other engineers and operators to ensure that our systems are functioning optimally and are in line with the latest industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
1. Designing, configuring, and maintaining SCADA systems for process control and monitoring.
2. Developing and implementing project plans, including design specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.
3. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for SCADA systems, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system issues.
4. Ensuring data integrity, backup systems, and effective data management across SCADA systems.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems with other operational technology and IT systems.
6. Conducting regular system tests and inspections to identify and rectify potential issues.
7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest SCADA technologies and industry trends and making recommendations for system improvements.
8. Providing training and guidance to operators and other staff on the use of SCADA systems.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, including design principles, hardware and software components, and data management techniques.
4. Proficient in computerized process control and automation technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential issues before they become problems.
9. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to SCADA systems.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
