Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Architect Location: Fremont, CA Onsite 1-3 Days a week Duration: 6 Month CTH Job Description: SAP S/4 Implementation as part of their Digital Transformation Project Description Senior S4 Architect responsible for end-to-end solutions and capabilities for Lam s Digital Transformation initiative with SAP S/4 HANA as the main ERP solution. This is a multi-year journey involving a complete re-look at our business processes and adopting most relevant tools and technologies to support our business goals. The S4 Architect should be techno-functional and will closely collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise, technical, and functional architects, development teams and 3rd parties to establish a culture of solution governance and ensure that the solutions being proposed and implemented are within our agreed and published guidelines and work seamlessly across our ecosystem of SAP (S/4 HANA, BTP, Ariba, EWM, TM, CPQ, and other SAP modules/software) and non-SAP technologies.
Duties/Day to Day Overview: The main responsibility of the S4 Architect is to deliver an optimally designed, well integrated, and thoroughly tested working S4 & SAP solutions as a core deliverable to Digital Transformation program to increase business value. Primary responsibilities include: Define and communicate a shared functional and technical vision for the solutions. Validate platform and technology assumptions and fitment. Collaborate with enterprise architects to design viable, feasible and sustainable end to end solutions for the business requirements, following Lam s design guiding principles. Participate in proof-of-concept sessions to prototype, develop, test, and implement solutions to increase business capabilities. Evaluate implementation & development alternatives and pick the right fit/option for Lam. Define nonfunctional requirements (NFRs) for the solutions that include performance, security, Integrations, UI/UX, and other critical aspects to build scalable solutions.
What You'll Do Ensure that the system and solutions being implemented confirm to the approved design and adhere to Lam s development principles and regulatory compliance, standards, and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills to be able to collaborate and coordinate well across multiple teams and individuals for a shared common goals and outcomes. Support PMO on governance of WRICEFs Needs to be hands-on in S4 modules (Source to Supply, MM, PP, SD, FI) and SAP cloud solutions to lead solution and technical architects during POCs, solutioning and should have a deep understanding of deployment process, coming up with right options for Lam. Support the creation and evolution of a continuous delivery pipeline (CDP) Participate in release governance of the solution roadmap. Ensure upkeep/currency of application landscape and project documentation. Continuously evolve the solutions to improve and enhance business value. Please note, the position is based in Fremont, CA, and is expected to be in office one day a week.
Minimum Qualifications Master s or bachelor s degree in computer science, Information systems or related fields S4 Functional certification and SAP Solution Architecture certification is a plus. Prior experience as a key member of a large-scale Digital Transformation program. Experience driving a S4 greenfield implementation 15-18 years of experience in SAP technologies and solutions. At-least 5-6 years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BTP/Fiori and designing end-to end integrated solutions. 5-10 years of experience in integrations based on API and other micro-services. 5-10 years of experience in solution architecture and design Multi-year experience in Hi-tech Manufacturing Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and DevOps principles Advanced understanding of IT Security, automation, Integration strategy, UI/UX concepts, AI and Analytics Understanding of architectural framework like TOGAF
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: - Techno-Functional SAP S/4HANA Solutions Architect with 4+ years experience.
- End to End Implementation experience with a Greenfield S/4 HANA Implementation ideally numerous implementations.
- Expertise in following modules: Procure to Pay and Material Management.
- SAP S4 Architect
- Experience with most modules within SAP S4 Hana
- Procure to pay and materials management is their main priority
- More technical than functional, does not want a techno-functional consultant. Wants someone who understands the functional side/strong comms but more technical side
- 2-4 years with SAP Hana, have to done end to end greenfield S4 implementation.
- Hands on technical with a green field S4 background
- They understand 5-6 years is tough to find, can be someone with 2 years of experience
- They can do an H1 transfer esp if I40 approved. They can do processing as well.
- Want someone who can start in June
- Need to work in Fremont, they can pay for relocation.
- 1-3 days a week onsite in Fremont, client can be flexible.
