As an SAP Support Tech Specialist, you will design, document, implement and support various complex SAP applications as part of our Basis Support team. Viewed as a proficient in SAP system implementation and support, this position presents an opportunity to an experienced SAP Business and Configuration professional to take the next steps in their career.


What you will do:

  • Proficiently communicate with business users to gather requirements and perform GAP analysis
  • Analyze system and business needs to effectively map business processes to SAP application modules
  • Design system solutions, write functional specification document for various RICEFW objects, perform functional configurations, perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues reported during hyper-care
  • Troubleshoot reported system issues and resolve the issues as per priority levels
  • Train and mentor less experienced SAP analysts. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Complete complex project tasks within defined milestones. Make recommendations for project resource requirements to project managers and/or systems leadership. Maintains requirements documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics.
  • Work as on-call support (on rotation basis)

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant SAP BASIS experience
  • Experience in implementation of new SAP enhancements, conversions, upgrades, and patches
  • Hands-on experience in Basis administration, installation, upgrade, monitoring and supporting complex SAP landscapes
  • Ability to perform SAP technical upgrades (SAP Kernel, Support Packs, Add-ons)
  • Experience with ECC 6.0 system administration/troubleshooting
  • Experience with S4 implementation/conversion
  • Experience with HANA and DB2 database administration
  • Hands on experience with Windows Server and SUSE Linux administration and patching
  • Solution manager administration, especially ChaRM, Retrofit, Scope/Effort Analysis (SEA) and Alerting

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with firewall troubleshooting, SAP transport functionality, AWS cloud administration, and certificate renewals
  • Skilled at providing end-user support to resolve technical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business or equivalent

Base Salary Range

$109,600.00 - $158,950.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
