Sanitation Technician Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday with Mandatory Sundays 1-2 times per month Sanitation Technician Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour, paid weekly. Sanitation Technician Job Responsibilities: Power Washing, scraping, and sanitizing assigned areas. Floor Care to include use of an automatic scrubber. Cleaning will include trash/recycle removal, sweeping, mopping, stocking restrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and additional tasks outlined in the scope of work. Cleaner will be required to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures including LOTO and proper safety harnessing. Stops risky behavior of others and self. Qualifications: Previous sanitation experience in a warehouse/production setting. Must be comfortable with a LOT of walking. Must be comfortable climbing stairs and being two to four stories high at times. Ability to operate pressure washers and automatic floor scrubbers. Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, cleaning chemicals and their safe use. Essential Functions: Ability to wear required PPE (gloves and steel toe, slip resistant shoes). Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending. Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs. independently. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines. We do conduct a Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
