Sanitation Technician

Sanitation Technician - $21.05/hour Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7:00 am, possibility for overtime. Are you a hard-working, motivated employee who pays attention to detail? Do you prefer to work nights? If so, this position is for you. A local company in the Cherokee area is hiring an Industrial Sanitation Worker to join their expanding team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and facilities are properly sanitized according to the sanitation schedule. Responsibilities: + Mix sanitation chemicals according to recipe. + Spray, soap, scrub and rinse all equipment and supplies used in production. + Ensure equipment is properly sanitized for QA inspections. + Sanitize other areas of the plant on a weekly, monthly, and semi-annual basis. + Other sanitation duties as assigned. Requirements: + 1-2 years of previous sanitation experience preferred. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on own and 70 lbs. as a team. + Ability to work in cooler temperatures, around 38 degrees. + Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop frequently. + Ability to stand for 8 hours and walk up to 2 miles each shift.
