Job Title: Sample Coordinator
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:
The majority of the work will be on Sample Collection but there will be some data related tasks that the coordinator needs to complete that requires Traceone Access. The sample coordinator will serve multiple departments - Private Brands, Fresh, Not for Resale (NFR).
Responsibilities:
- Procure product samples with packaging of Own Brand and Private Brand Products including Fresh.
- Empty, clean, dry and label samples for shipping to 3rd party laboratory.
- Monitor and assist Not-for-Resale team and NFR packaging suppliers on sending their samples to the 3rd party laboratory.
- Log samples sent to laboratory for inventory and control.
- Determine similar packaging status in tracker from available system photos and Packaging Specification Data.
- Track samples still needed to be sent to the 3rd party laboratory for procurement and processing.
- Requires travel to local stores.
- If there is a sample that is out of immediate reach, coordinate sample purchase and shipping assign to other packaging team members.
- Coordinate receipt of verification documents from 3rd party laboratory.
- Match verification document with data from Packaging Specifications and escalate discrepancies to the packaging team.
- Coordinate upload of verification documents to Packaging Specifications System.
- Provide weekly reports of sample purchase, shipping, verification document receipt and upload.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience
Skills:
- Must know excel as they will be maintaining the list of products- sent out, received, etc.
