Role Overview: As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for both Technical Architecture and Solutions Architecture, ensuring the robust design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions. You will lead development teams, craft scalable and secure architectures, and provide technical expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Architecture:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance technical architectures on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines for Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and APIs.
- Architect complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems, leveraging REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
- Perform regular code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal application performance.
- Lead the implementation of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Salesforce DX.
Solutions Architecture:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, data models, and technical documentation.
- Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Conduct proof of concept (POC) and pilot implementations to evaluate new features and functionalities.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing technical guidance, support, and career development.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including QA, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform development and architecture.
- Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are highly desirable.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proven experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and middleware solutions.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices for Salesforce development.
