Our challenge

We are immediately looking for a Salesforce Architect in Dallas TX and Pittsburgh PA.

The Role

As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation of Salesforce solutions and technology architecture. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the company's Salesforce ecosystem supports our strategic goals and meets the business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials for users.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the Salesforce architecture.
  • Provide expertise in Salesforce best practices, including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects, other functional-area architects, and technology to ensure consistency, maintainability, flexibility with respect to overall system, technical and product architectures within the Salesforce domain.
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field.
  • Certified Salesforce Application Architect or Salesforce System Architect.
  • Expertise in a Salesforce architecture role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative programming and administration (develop code, custom objects, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows, and assignment rules).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing new Salesforce objects, workflow rules, custom layouts, and other standard Salesforce customizations.
  • Good understanding of best practices and functionality.
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms.
  • Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Service Cloud.
  • Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and duplicate management.
  • Experience with Salesforce API, REST or SOAP services.
  • Experience with other CRM software and cloud-based solutions.

Additional Information: The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with Pennsylvania and Texas law, the base salary for this role if filled within PA and TX, is $140K-$150K/year & benefits (see below).
