The Product Specialist is responsible for sales activities related to Guldmann lift equipment to assigned accounts in the Mid Atlantic Region (NC,SC,TN,KY,VA,PA). With a focus on acute care facilities, you will call on health care professionals and support

the promotional effort behind our products. You will maintain a current and competent level of knowledge on our

product line and be able to be a reliable source of information to the health care professionals in your territory.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Mid Atlantic Regional Manager, Implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within the assigned geographic area.
  • Prepare a plan for each account to identify what and how short and long-term needs may be met.
  • Assist in forecasts for the product(s) within assigned territory.
  • Provide reports on the budget and sales activity for a given period.
  • Interface with the customer to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements.
  • Contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback on products.
  • Share details with customers on additional offerings to provide value-added service.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and/or complaints.
  • Prepare and conduct technical and product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Participate in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products.
  • Share ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of the product life cycle (plan, design, integrate, install, manage).
  • Work closely with your regional team Manager, assigned Client Relations Specialist and Progressive Mobility Specialist.
  • Required to travel throughout the Mid Atlantic region.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or two to three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
