Position Description:
About the Role: We are seeking a Sales Center Manager for our client, a leader in the distribution of pool, spa, and construction materials. This critical role involves full responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that enhances sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership: Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to capture sales opportunities and grow the sales center.
- Financial Management: Take charge of budget, P&L, and sales center expenses, ensuring profitability.
- Sales and Marketing: Lead sales efforts, support promotions, and maintain relationships with preferred vendors.
- Team Oversight: Hire, train, and manage sales center personnel, fostering a professional and collaborative work environment.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage credit, collections, and cash, ensuring financial health.
- Operations Management: Support corporate operations procedures, manage inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Growth Initiatives: Identify new product, customer, and market development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Leader : With 5-7 years in industrial distribution or a related field, you bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success.
- Strategic Thinker: Your strong sales acumen is matched with an ability to manage a profitable operation, evidenced by at least 2 years in a role with full P&L responsibility.
- Team Builder: Skilled in hiring, training, and inspiring a team of 10 or more, you're ready to foster a dynamic work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office, with experience in inventory control and CRM systems, you leverage technology to drive efficiency.
