What you will do - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and expand market share.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Monitor sales activities, track performance, and provide regular reports to the VP of Sales & Rental.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Provide training and ongoing coaching to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales & Rental to ensure inventory availability, delivery schedules, and equipment maintenance are optimized.
What you'll need - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Heavy Equipment industry, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Knowledge of sales trends, products, and services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and negotiate contracts.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and resolve escalated customer issues.
