Vulcraft Nebraska, a division of Nucor Corporation, is seeking applicants for a Sales Engineer position located in our Denver, CO office. Basic Job Functions:
  • Develop strong partnerships with our customers in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.
  • Work with the commercial team on devising and executing on our market strategy.
  • Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
  • Perform joist & deck estimates using our estimating software program.
  • Develop and grow strong relationships with the local Engineering community by attending local events, gatherings, and facilitating lunch and learns.
  • Be willing and able to travel.
  • Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when required.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineer field.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able and willing to get PE once requirements have been met.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in customer service and sales related roles.
  • Proficiency with NuBid.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Willing to put in and move for future advancement opportunities.
