DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

The Sales Enablement Director at eMolecules is a multifaceted role that involves collaborating with the commercial sales leadership to develop and implement sales enablement and marketing strategies including creating impactful full-funnel content in support of the commercial salesforce. This position plays a crucial part in driving successful sales outcomes by aligning with commercial strategic initiatives to achieve overall company goals across multiple business units. Success will come from being deeply immersed in the day-to-day sales operations to develop compelling sales tools and collateral marketing communications, content, and oversee field marketing activities and direct digital marketing awareness and lead generation campaigns, as well as manage resources to support revenue targets. The role directly supports sales; however, it is cross functional in nature and must collaborate closely with multiple departments within and across the organization. This role must gain alignment with key stakeholders and implement strategic, operational, marketing technology (MarTech) and performance enhancements to drive sales productivity and growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drives the end-to-end strategy of best-in-class enablement content and communications.
  • Determines sales enablement priorities with key business stakeholders and ensures alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
  • Develops and implements sales enablement strategies, and marketing initiatives (with a focus on account-based marketing (ABM) strategies) to support the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Creates and maintains sales content and materials to support the commercial sales team, including but not limited to customer-facing pitch decks, capability overviews, promotional and customer training videos, and case studies.
  • Develops long and short form thought-leadership to conversion-focused marketing messaging for various personas, capabilities and markets that effectively adapts and cascades to a range of channels, including email, website, webinars, events and social media
  • Collaborates with scientific sales team and strategic 3rd party partners to develop scientific thought-leadership content.
  • Aligns messaging and content with overall commercial sales strategies and organizations' messaging and positioning.
  • Manages brand strategy and implementation and maintains high-level of brand integrity.
  • Monitors and analyzes the performance of marketing campaigns, content and sales enablement materials, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and manage multiple 3rd party marketing enablement consultants, vendors and suppliers to enable efficient execution of marketing projects.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work onsite in our San Diego office
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in field marketing, strategic marketing, sales, sales enablement, revenue-facing roles, sales training, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies in each of these areas; Life Science industry strongly preferred, with at least a basic understanding of chemistry and drug discovery development processes; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using data driven B2B marketing to position and sell complex products and services.
  • Experience translating metrics across a diversified salesforce into a well-defined and goal driven strategy.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to present complex concepts simply and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional and international relationships
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to travel as needed.
