YOUR ROLE

Sales Director Specialty Retail is a strategic sales leader accountable for nurturing and expanding Joico's high-performing, diverse specialty retail portfolio. Position is critical in driving brand energy, agenda, goals and objectives within established accounts while also responsible for identifying, seeding and cultivating new business. Director reports directly to VP Sales and works cross-functionally with marketing, digital, supply chain, finance, and other departments to plan and execute commercial strategies, provide forecasts, and meet the service expectations required to achieve growth objectives. Ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills to maintain and further strengthen valued account relations, combined with expertise in expanding retail footprint to include new business acquisition.

  • Meet and/or exceed established sales and financial KPIs.
  • Partner with internal cross functional departments (Marketing, Digital, Creative, Sales Analysts) as well as account key stakeholders to develop and execute digital/in-store commercial plans to successfully launch new products, increase merchandising effectiveness, enhance customer brand experience, and drive sales.
  • Effectively leverage data, scorecards, and analytics tools to monitor and improve results.
  • Plan and lead executive level meetings, conferences, and other functions.
  • Expand Joico retail presence by sourcing new business opportunities.
  • Support supply chain team by providing reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual sales projections to help meet company service metrics.
  • Efficiently manage assigned budgets and resources to optimize profitability.
