We're seeking a vibrant Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. This position is crucial for driving revenue growth by leading outbound prospecting efforts to generate high-quality leads and opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a determined attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting: Engage in outbound prospecting tasks to pinpoint and assess potential leads and prospects through methods like cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and various other channels.
  • Lead Generation: Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team by effectively articulating our value proposition and engaging with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Qualification: Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timeline to ensure alignment with our target customer profile and sales objectives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on target accounts and industries to identify key stakeholders, pain points, and business challenges, and tailor messaging and outreach efforts accordingly.
  • CRM Management: Record all prospecting activities, interactions, and lead information accurately and consistently in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align prospecting efforts with overall sales and marketing strategies and objectives.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably in Financial Services / Technology.
  • Previous experience in outbound prospecting or inside sales is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud based technology is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales prospecting tools, and other sales and marketing technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively, build rapport, and articulate value propositions.
