Responsibilities would include:
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs, including recordkeeping
• Lead investigations and resolve safety issues and concerns
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and reporting
• Work with the operations team to set priorities and goals consistent with corporate priorities and goals.
• Lead and participate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within Twin Rivers Paper Company
• Communicate effectively to all levels from floor to corporate executives on the progress and trends towards achieving excellence in safety
• Direct outside contractors / internal resources to obtain appropriate and timely safety requirements.
Candidate profile should include;
- 5+ years of experience in safety management, production management, or related discipline
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Bachelors or Associates Degree Preferred
