Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our work environment meets all safety and health requirements. This role will involve auditing our current processes, implementing safety measures, and training staff on safety protocols. The Safety Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that our operations are not only efficient but also safe.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety audits: Analyze current safety protocols, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements. This will involve thorough inspections of the workplace, equipment, and work practices.
  • Develop and implement safety policies: Your role will involve creating safety guidelines and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations. This will include creating safety training materials and conducting safety training sessions for staff.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations: As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all safety measures are adhered to. This will involve monitoring operations, reporting any safety violations, and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain safety records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related incidents and the measures taken to address them. This will involve preparing detailed reports and presenting them to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Safety Engineer in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, particularly those relating to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
