Russian/Ukrainian Linguist with Security Clearance

Job Description Position Description A large portion of the material for translation, summarization or gisting deals with military, cyber and science and technology topics. Applicants who do not have prior experience in these areas must be willing to acquire the relevant knowledge for long-term success. Linguists for this requirement must possess excellent English skills and the ability to produce precise English translations. Candidates for the travel position will need native level Russian (5/5/5 SLR scores) and strong Ukrainian (3/3+/4 SLR scores) as well as strong interpretation skills. TDYs may last up to 90 days both CONUS and OCONUS. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree
3+ years relevant experience to include the following.
Translating technical material into English.
Interpretation.
Reviewing and editing written products and revising for correctness of written expression.
Summarizing pertinent details providing an easily digestible format.
Producing reports to include visual representations, i.e., charts, tables, graphs, etc. of research.
Must pass the translation assessment with a minimum of 3 and a Speaking, Listening, and Reading test with a 5/5/5 on the ILR scale.
Linguists must be comfortable doing long technical translations.
Linguists must be willing to work anywhere in the WMA.
Linguists must be willing to go on 1-3-month TDY's to CONUS, OCONUS, or War Zone locations.
Linguists must be comfortable with assignments involving oral interpretation on various topics.
