Description Full Time, Part Time or PRN RPSGT's and / or RT's Needed up to 20k sign on bonus available depending on FT and/or PT MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT in Sioux Falls, SD and surrounding areas. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience - Will pay for travel. MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders. Responsibilities will include: facilitating tests and collecting data responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control Job Requirements: High School diploma or higher education level Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred Certified nationally (for application to ND) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred Current BCLS certification Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required Travel maybe required 10% of the time Physical Demands of the Job: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 1. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. 2. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
