Route Driver

Position: Route Driver (Non-CDL) $500 Sign-On Bonus

Department: Delivery

Location: Lenexa, KS

Reports to: Delivery Manager

Schedule: Full-time, Monday thru Friday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB DUTIES:

Come to work on time; 5:00am
Be able to drive to retailers in the Kansas City area in a 24ft straight truck.
Follow route directions in order to deliver products to customers
Obtain the correct money and signatures of the delivered product
Interact with customers and stock products in some stores.
Communicate with company members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Complete deliveries in a timely fashion.
Works safely at all times.
$500 Sign-On Bonus to be paid out over the course of the employee's first year of service.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Lifting, pulling, and pushing various cases up to 50 lbs.
Use of a two-wheeler.
Knowledge of the city is a plus.
Great communication and people skills.
Basic knowledge of a handheld device and computing skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Required to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
Lift up to 25 lbs. overhead periodically.
Squatting, bending, reaching, and walking for long periods.

LICENSING / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Valid Class E driver's license.
Ability to obtain a Medical Card and have a clean driving record.
Pallet jack/lift truck certification is a plus, but not required.
Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
