SUMMARY: - The Roofing Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our roofing company. This individual will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and ensuring the smooth execution of roofing projects. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of roofing practices, project management, team leadership, and customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership and Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of roofing professionals, including project managers, supervisors, estimators, and technicians
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment and encourage teamwork
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Oversee and approve time cards for all employees
- Work with company owners to create and execute action plans to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Workers Compensation and OSHA inspection readiness
Project Management: - Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roofing projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
- Job site inspections
- Working with City Departments to obtain permits and sign off on completed jobs
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for senior management
Quality Assurance: - Establish and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and adherence to industry standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of roofing operations
Customer Service: - Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the roofing projects, addressing client concerns promptly and effectively
- Develop strong relationships with key clients and maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions
Compliance and Safety: - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to roofing services
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols to protect the well-being of team members and customers
QUALIFICATIONS: - Either possess an active C-39 or meet the experience requirements for a C-39 license
- Proven experience in the roofing industry, with a minimum of 10 years in the roofing industry with 5 years minimum of leadership experience in a busy company
- Strong understanding of roofing practices, materials, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and building codes
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant tools
