Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project management team to plan, organize, and oversee heavy civil construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and cost estimation to determine project viability.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of project proposals, contracts, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team, addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to communicate project status, milestones, and potential risks.
  • Manage and track project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in regular project meetings and provide input on decision-making processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and proficiency in project scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse project teams.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
