  • Starting rate of $32.00 per hour with additional compensation for experience.
  • Shift differentials for weekends and weeknights, as well as the additional COVID-19 premium.

Douglas Cove Health & Rehabilitation offers a range of services to our residents all under one roof. We offer assisted living, skilled nursing rehabilitation/ long term care and a secured memory care. Douglas Cove Health & Rehabilitation is small and has a home like environment. We are located in the beautiful city of Douglas, MI., less than one mile away from the lake and walking distance to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck.

We are currently hiring for a part-time RN "Weekend Warrior" position. Are you an RN who is looking for a part-time position to utilize your analytical skills and only work an eight (8) hour shift on Saturday and Sunday?

This weekend position will help our Nursing Administration department by completing:

  • Audits
  • Assisting Charge Nurse(s) with admissions and discharges
  • Assisting in customer service needs (i.e. answering call-lights, helping with lunch breaks, answering the telephone)
  • Greeting and screening visitors
  • Other day-to-day needs of residents

Requirements:

  • COVID-19 Vaccination required by CMS guidelines for nursing homes
  • Current RN license in the state
  • Up to date first aid and CPR certification
  • At least one year of experience in a Long Term Care Setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Point Click Care preferred
