Position Description:

This position is responsible for the clinical coordination of the Endoscopy Lab. this position supervises, directs and is accountable for providing nursing care and technical support to patients, other nurses and doctors by giving direct nursing care and technical support in the pre, inter and post-procedure settings. Establishes and maintains effective, cooperative working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff and other departments. Considers ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
