Elm Manor Nursing And Rehabilitation -
Elm Manor is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to join our team of professional caregivers. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of a 46 bed facility unit. Your team will consist of your DON, FT LPN, and nursing assistants. Together we care for our residents, giving them a home away from home.
This position is Monday-Friday with a weekend on call rotation.
Componsation for this position is very competitive with benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to residents
- Establish resident treatment plans and care plans
- Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care
- Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate resident medical records
- Provide emotional support to residents and their family members
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current NY state RN license in good standing
- Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred
- Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and guidelines
- Dependable and reliable
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- CPR Certified
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
