Trusted Staffe is partnering with a leading Level II Trauma Center in Mission Viejo, California, to recruit experienced and passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for their Surgical Neuro Intensive Care Unit (SNICU). Your Role as an RN in the SNICU:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' neurological status, identifying and responding to changes in condition.
  • Critical Care Interventions: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide specialized care to patients recovering from neurosurgical procedures.
  • Family-Centered Care: Collaborate with families to develop and implement individualized care plans, providing education and support throughout their loved one's recovery.
  • Collaboration: Work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the best interests of your patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and support.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
    • One (1) year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred:
    • Previous experience in critical care or neuroscience nursing.
