Job Description: Trusted Staffe is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor for Long Term Care on behalf of our esteemed partner, a regional Medical Center located in Seward, AK. As an RN Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents within the long-term care facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of resident care.
  2. Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and implementation of care plans to meet individualized resident needs.
  4. Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to long-term care.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to optimize resident outcomes.
  6. Conduct regular rounds to assess resident status and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  7. Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing support and education as needed.
  8. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and resident satisfaction.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care and facility operations.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  2. Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification upon hire is required.
  3. Minimum of 1 year of clinical supervisory, management, or resource experience in a healthcare setting.
  4. Previous experience in long-term care is highly preferred.
  5. At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on gerontological nursing.
  6. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  7. Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  8. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing long-term care facilities.
  10. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care to residents.
