BROOKSIDE HEALTHCARE AND REHABILITATION CENTER HAS AN OPENING FOR THE NEW RN SUPERVISOR PER DIEM EVERY WEEKEND PROGRAM. LOOKING TO FILL SHIFTS FOR 7-3, 3-11 amd 11-7.

As a RN SUPERVISOR the expectations would be:
- Completion of nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals.
- Conveys accurate information in supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing
- Seeks out supervision and direction from physician.
- Assist medical doctor as needed
- Attend and actively participate in departmental staff meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
- Orientation of new employees to unit specific policies and procedures
- Must have Knowledge of HIPAA laws, confidentiality, state licensing regulations, CPR, AED and First Aid.
- Oversight and serve as a resource to the direct care staff
- Support to the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers with staffing and activities as assigned
- Direct patient care when necessary and/or assigned
RN SUPERVISOR Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification
- Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
- Must posses a compassionate and caring demeanor
