Campus Overview Kettering Health Greene Memorial Kettering Health Greene Memorial, formerly Greene Memorial Hospital, is situated in the heart of Xenia where they have been serving patients from Jamestown, Cedarville, Yellow Springs, Waynesville, and beyond for over 65 years. In 2020, KH Greene Memorial received an "A" from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. Accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric troyke Emergency Department. 49 bed facility KH Greene Memorial was awarded by Healthgrades for: Patient Safety Excellence Outstanding Patient Experience (2019) Responsibilities & Requirements Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RN's actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission, vision, values, and policies in interactions with patients, families, and coworker. The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited nursing program Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or long term care setting BLS certification ACLS certification required within six months of hire Must be scheduled a minimum of 288 hours per calendar year Minimum of 1 shifts (12 hours) per a 6 week schedule Weekend Shift Requirement 1 Holiday per year
