As aPre-operative/PACU registered nurse manager in our ambulatory surgery center,you will provide clinical management and expertise over the Pre-operative andPACU staff to ensure patients receive high quality, efficient care. •   You will manage andsupervise all pre-operative and PACU areas of care
•   Establish and maintainan effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator
•   You will ensure thatday-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with clinical practicestandards and policies of the center
•   Ensure sufficientstaffing daily by notifying your team of scheduling changes
•   You will participatein the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided
•   Accessible to yourstaff by providing breaks, ensuring coverage for meal breaks, late cases andstaffing shortages
•   Monitor your clinicalarea to ensure materials are provided
•   You will facilitateeffective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
•   You will delegate,coach, mentor and handle conflict resolution with your team
