JOB SUMMARY: A clinically competent, registered nurse who delivers care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates management of patients served by the infusion service. The nurse interacts with the Outpatient Infusion Clinic nursing manager, to ensure compliance with DNV. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members to assure all requirements for patient care are met. Maintains standards of professional nursing for the age groups served. QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to practice in the state of Oklahoma Experience in home infusion or home health care highly desirable. Training in PICC line is desirable. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials. Able to work in latex burdened environment. Able to hear and talk and converse distinctly with others in person and over the phone. Strength and stamina for prolonged walking/standing, dealing with stressful situations Demonstrate adequate vision to read/write, discern small objects. Able to frequently lift 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel. Adequate fine motors skills, sensory perception, and hand/eye coordination to give care. Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
