SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week), SHIFT: Days with rotating weekends.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) serves as akey member of the unit based leadership team. The CNC is responsible for managingpatient-centered care coordination within the unit/department during thedesignated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team,the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance withestablished policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, andmodels a commitment to the hospitalss vision/mission/values to support anunparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overalldepartmental performance.
Qualifications LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid CA RN License Required BLS Required ACLS within 30-days NIH Stroke Required Bachelor's Degree Required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years clinicalexperience in applicable clinical area required Leadership or management experience preferred Certification applicable to clinical area preferred
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must read, write and verbally communicate in the English language. Must maintain confidentiality.
