We are looking for adedicated Charge Nurse to join our Trauma Lead team for a full-time, day shift position .
We are an amazing team thatworks hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like youwho feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
- You will assume advocacy and accountability for yourself and othersunder your supervision and assume charge of the TNL staff.
- You will assist thedirector of trauma in providing/assuring a single standard of care to allpatients.
- You will assist in guiding, teaching, coaching,evaluation of staff and orienting new members of the team.
- You will also provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies andprocedures of Orange Park Medical Center and Trauma Services. In collaboration with the patient, thepatients family and other members of the health care team, you will asses, plan, implement, evaluate and coordinate treatment plans.
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need: - Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in thestate which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) orAmerican Red Cross Certifications needed upon hire:BLS, ACLS and PALS.
- A current TNCC Certification is required.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school ofNursing: BSN is required.
- Three or more years in direct trauma resuscitationnursing care delivery.
