CVICU Registered Nurse / Acute Care
We are seeking a qualified CVICU Registered Nurse / Acute Care for an immediate opening in Kissimmee, FL. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

CVICU Registered Nurse / Acute Care
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Perform responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving and differentiation of urgency in the role of clinician, teacher, researcher, leadership and professional development.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required for RN's on all nursing clinical units
