Hereis some of what you can expect from being a Pre & Post Op Registered Nursewith us:
- Youwill provide patient care utilizing the nursing process- assessment, careplanning, and implementation for identified patient population per theColorado Nurse Practice Act.
- Youwill document patient care administered.
- Youwill promote interdisciplinary communication and care.
- Yourdelivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safetyand learning needs of the individual patient.
- Youwill supervise contract RNs, MSTs, and CNAs.
- Youwill perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice andfunctions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at SRMC.
Whatqualifications you will need:
- Currentlicensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current activemulti-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLSrequired.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
- One (1) year experience in Med-Surg / Critical Care / ED / PACUor Ambulatory experience preferred.
